My kitchen and bath background:
• 8 years running my own kitchen and bath business
• 5 years designing for a Wood Mode / Brookhaven showroom in NYC
• Recognized as one of New York Spaces Magazine's Top Designers to Watch under 40 (2006)
• President of the Manhattan Chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) 2005
• VP of Programming of the Manhattan Chapter of the NKBA (2004)
• Coursework in interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC
And my checkered past:
• An MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business
• A degree in Economics and International Relations from Bucknell University
• Ran a small gluten and allergy free cooking business, Happy Maggie Foods
• 5 years working in Fixed Income at Merrill Lynch
• A bartending certificate from the American Bartending School in NYC
